I have worked at Oak Grove since 2006, and I have worked in my College Counseling role since 2008.

I believe in the mission and intent of the school and feel Oak Grove can contribute to making the world a better place through its graduates, staff, and faculty.

A quote that inspires your approach to your job.

“College is a match to be made, not a prize to be won.” -Frank Sachs, former president of the National Association for College Admission Counseling

Where is your special spot on campus?

I love looking for ladybugs on the rocks and in the plants along the walk between the High School and the Main House.

Coffee or Tea?

Coffee.

What makes an Oak Grove education unique?

The focus on relationship, honesty, inquiry, and collaboration.

How do we prepare students for their life ahead?

In addition to an academic foundation, we help them know themselves and be unafraid of examining their own thoughts and actions.

What outdoor experience has been most impactful for you?

I have felt grateful all these years to be able to spend my working days surrounded by the natural beauty of our campus.
