My relationship with Oak Grove began when I first visited the campus in 1997. I had never been to Ojai before. My husband Kevin and I came up for the day to see the Krishnamurti school. It was a weekend, so quiet, but I felt connected to this place instantly. This campus has a magic that is difficult to put into words.
|
It was a few years later, when we moved to Ojai, that I began conspiring to figure out a way to send our children here. At the time, I worked for a nonprofit, and Kevin had just been hired by the LA County Fire Department. Private school tuition was not in our budget.

Congratulations!
|
A massive cast and crew made the Oak Grove Theater performance of The Sound of Music a huge success. The musical was performed over two nights, to over 600 people. Heading the production was Oak Grove's theater director, Richa Badami, assisted by a full crew of parent and student volunteers, staff, and of course the student actors who bought the entire thing to life. Congratulations to all!

It is simple to die, and it is hard to continue; for continuity is effort to be or not to be. Effort is desire, and desire can die only when the mind ceases to acquire. How simple it is just to live!

We invite you to our Annual May Gathering, May 7th, and 8th, 2022, taking place at Oak Grove School in Ojai. Friends both local and from around the world come to listen to speakers, participate in discussions and dialogues, attend workshops, and enjoy the beauty of the Oak Grove School campus while hanging out with friends old and new. Choose from different programs or engage with teachers from our schools and scholars of Krishnamurti’s teachings who share their understanding.
