On the Threshold of Adulthood

As we brought another school year to a close, one moment invited us to linger a little longer. Amid the applause, embraces, photographs, and joyful celebration, there exists a quieter, more contemplative moment when our seniors’ Oak Grove education is complete. This moment offers us an invitation to reflect on what it means to accompany a young person to the threshold of adulthood, and then, with equal measures of attention and tenderness, to let them go.

Class of 2026

Graduation

The Class of 2026 showed us that important moments don’t just happen suddenly. Their journey, both as a group and as individuals, was full of personal growth, learning, and connection. Since the beginning of their senior year, they positively influenced both students and staff. High School Director Mary Kelley shared her thoughts before inviting the class to the stage: “…this remarkable group of individuals has profoundly shaped our high school’s culture this year. They have ignited a sense of school spirit in both their peers and the adults around them.“
