How many years have you worked at Oak Grove?
Why do you work at Oak Grove?
There are so many reasons why I teach at Oak Grove! Here are just a few: Freedom to teach creative units within the standards. The ability to fully connect with my students in so many ways. Our connection to the outdoors and nature in general. And of course the amazing staff I get to collaborate with daily!
A quote that inspires your approach to your job.
“The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.” —J. Krishnamurti
Where is your special spot on campus?
The grass behind the Main House. I like to stand there and look towards the Pavilion and at the whole campus around me. It is so peaceful.
Coffee or Tea?
What makes an Oak Grove education unique?
Students are not always given the answers to the questions they seek answers to. As teachers, we guide them in ways to find the answers and let them find their answers for themselves.
How do we prepare students for their life ahead?
Question everything! Be kind. Seek truths. Embrace being a life-long learner.
Name a place you’ve always wanted to visit, but haven’t yet.
