Oak Grove’s unique approach to learning along with the beautiful campus that reflects and celebrates the natural world is what drew me to the school. I love the community approach to each child’s unique needs and challenges and how everyone is celebrated for who they are.

What outdoor experience has been most impactful for you?
Solo hiking the Trans Catalina Trail. Being by myself for 5 days was such a healing experience.

Dr. Best, my geology professor in college. His enthusiasm for the natural world along with his amazing teaching abilities led me to becoming a science teacher.
