Objective:
The aim of this camp is to explore, self-observation, inner work, and critical thinking using philosophy, meditation, and archery.
Method:
We will divide each day into two sessions, the first part will be dedicated to the study and discussion of contemplative practices gathered from various traditions. Theory and practice will be shared with the purpose of recognizing serenity, attention, and a sense of unity within ourselves. Breathing techniques and group meditation will aid in this process. The materials used in this session are Slideshows, music, cushions, blankets, and a notebook for journaling.
The second part of our day will be used to learn about the principles of archery, safety measures, and essential techniques.
Both parts are tied by the intention of cultivating focus and attention as essential elements in our daily lives. Tapping into the innate wisdom of our hearts we intend to recognize essential qualities of being like self-observation, critical thinking, and inner peace.
