Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical. Into the Woods, Jr. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

Two Evening Shows & Two Matinees

As with our last two musical productions, Into the Woods Jr. will be in the beautiful Mulligan Arts Building at The Thacher School. Two evening performances are scheduled for Friday (3/7) and Saturday (3/8), along with two matinee performances on Saturday (3/8) and Sunday (3/9). Tickets will be available first week of February.

My time at Oak Grove was brief, just the last two years of high school, but I think its emphasis on living in coexistence with what we often call the natural world really impressed itself on me, as well as the school's sense, received from Krishnamurti, of a more international and philosophical sense of being in and with the world.
